What is 4TCN- Fourth Trimester Care Network

Fourth Trimester Care Network (4TCN) is a Florida-based maternal mental health support network that connects pregnant and postpartum women with licensed perinatal therapists from the first trimester through the first year after birth.

Our philosophy

Offer access to licensed therapists trained in perinatal mental health, available via secure telehealth.

Who we help

Maternal mental health support should be routine, not reactive.

What we do

Coordinate referral pathways so pregnant and postpartum people can find appropriate care quickly.

People experiencing pregnancy anxiety, prenatal mood concerns, or fear related to childbirth.

  • Those facing postpartum depression, anxiety, or birth trauma.

  • Parents who feel overwhelmed by the transition to parenthood and want preventive emotional support before symptoms intensify.

Why it matters

Our commitment 4TCN aims to make access to perinatal mental health care simple, stigma-free, and sustainable. You do not have to wait until six weeks postpartum, and you do not have to struggle silently. Support should begin early — and continue.

Provide trimester-based emotional check-ins to identify needs early and track changes over time.

Early, ongoing support reduces the risk of untreated perinatal mental health conditions and supports healthier outcomes for both parent and baby.

Care that begins during pregnancy — not just at the six-week postpartum visit — helps normalize mental health follow-up and removes barriers to timely treatment.

Telehealth options increase accessibility and preserve privacy, making it easier to get help without added logistical strain.
